Preparation and Properties of Flame Retardant and Antistatic Foamed Wood–Plastic Composite with APP/ZB System

With the aggravation of fire and smoke pollution, it is urgent to develop green, lower-cost high-performance Foamed Wood–Plastic Composite (FWPC) meet standards antistatic flame retardant in practical application. Therefore, FWPCs were prepared by compression molding this study. High-density polyethylene (PE-HD) Salix wood flour used as main raw materials, azodicarbonamide (AC) was foaming agent; Nano-carbon black (Nano-CB) filler, ammonium polyphosphate (APP) zinc borate (ZB) retardants. The static bending strength elastic modulus FWPC-20 up 30.01 MPa 2636 MPa, respectively, which can commercial application wood–plastic decorative board. logarithm surface resistivity volume kept at eight, indicating that has effect. residual carbon rate increased 38.58% 800 °C, FWPC had high thermal stability. minimum heat release 226.75 kw/m2, average 110.53 kw/m2. total 66.96 MJ/m2, Limit Oxygen Index 27.3%, indicated suppression effects. This study provides a low-cost simple method for design retardant, FWPC, broad prospects fields packaging construction.
